About this series:

I have scoured my memory for those stand out characters in pop culture and commemorated them in a series of portraits I call Amor Pop

 

I am a child of the 80's.

 

My influences: Star Wars, 80's B-boy culture, WWF wrestlers, He-Man, Brit pop and grunge. 

 

I use rare old photographs, Victorian era cabinet cards, and incorporate digital drawing.

They are meant to be slightly silly. I aim for nostalgia, humor. Sometimes work really should be that uncomplicated
